Songs Don’t Fall From The Sky by Swagata “Ban” Banerjee

Songs don’t fall from the sky! Or do they? Shocker, isn’t it? Well, as impossible as it may sound, I don’t know about you, but I have had the bizarre opportunity to meet some people who think music does not have to be created, but it is just there...who knows how, it is just there, man…maybe it’s supposed to be there! Think of this: tunes like Happy Birthday and many of the ditties and nursery rhymes like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star most of us have had to learn at our elementary and grade school levels – can you imagine them ever being created? I mean, they were just there…Heaven-sent, right? Wrong! Listen members of the human race – every shred of music you hear everywhere has had to be created and produced in some shape or form, sometime, somehow, and by someone, period!
